The knowledgeable staff at SuperiorUSA specializes in comprehensive retirement plan administration including the production of qualified retirement Plan Documents, Summary Plan Descriptions and administrative forms necessary to comply with current laws. SuperiorUSA utilizes volume submitter documents which provides employers big and small with the maximum flexibility available in a pre-approved document to to customize a plan according to their needs. We then not only maintain and update those documents as required by law, but we proactively monitor and and recommend plan design changes and amendments so that our clients' plans can evolve and adapt as our clients' grow and change their underlying business and benefits objectives.
Our third-party administration (TPA) services are performed in conjunction with your investment professional and the industry's leading mutual fund, insurance, and retirement recordkeeping companies. This arrangement allows for a best-of-the-best "unbundled" relationship partnering the recordkeeping experience of investment firms with the expertise of select asset managers, the personalized service and technical guidance of SuperiorUSA as the independent third party administrator, and the investment direction and support of your financial advisor.
Our staff will conduct the initial plan implementation and non-discrimination testing to ascertain initial compliance. We also suggest remedies to resolve all failed testing results on a timely basis. Thereafter, we will perform required non-discrimination testing and other required testing at least annually to assure ongoing compliance under current laws and regulations.
SuperiorUSA will provide a complete annual package to include the Summary Annual Report for plan participants and prepare a signature-ready Form 5500 for electronic submission to the DOL. Assistance is provided to the employer to determine year-end allowable discretionary contributions as needed. Our firm will determine if any excess deferrals or contributions have been made and will prepare the necessary data for any required refunds to plan participants.
